"This
exhibit explores a blurred sense of time, that often fleeting moment when an
emotion is recognized and most deeply felt. By blurring the “edge” of the
figure and the space or “atmosphere” it exists in. I am exploring the
permeability between the borders of conscious thought and felt emotion." -

“Daniel Tousignant's scenes of perfectly clouded blue skies
and topiary-type trees on lush beds of grass are dreamscapes that we
want to hold onto. Detailed views of other "botanicals" draw us
deeper into the elements that make up these compositions.”
